🎨Artist tip of the day nr12. When concepting, it can be useful to forget about rendering and small details. Set it up as simple as possible. If shapes communicate well in a simple state, they are ready to be defined in cleaner passes. This way is quick and easy to iterate upon👌
I'm doing a #VisibleWoman post for my friend @Naudh1z because she could use some love. We all struggle at times and sometimes it hits us harder than usual. You're my best friend Nina and a damn amazing artist! Never forget!
🥰Look at her awesome work everyone! 🥰+ follow her!!
🎨🎭 Show me your role playing character! I know lots of you play D&D and other RPG games! Might pick out a cool one from among them to paint for you! (Below you see some art I did for WOTC D&D books)
🎨🎭 2009 vs 2019. I was just graduating filmschool in 2009. I wish I could tell 2009-me: 👩🎓 "Hard work really does pay off, yet learning never ends. Stop being stubborn and allow yourself to make mistakes, that's how you grow.💪You're not a failure when everything feels hard.✍️"
🎨Study tip 4! CLOTHING! Do lots of focus studies on clothing items.🧣👗👢👚👖This will helps you expand your ideas for concepts and learn lots of about drapery and flexibility.
(For the one with the scarfs I used a naked 3d body screenshot as a manikin. The others are friends.)
As I really enjoy doing commissions, I've officially made some price-sheets of frequently requested work. I mainly do bigger work for companies, so always check with me if I have time for commissions! #commissionsopen
