Having this on my list is such a weird pick but I resonate with Sayori. The game is all around a wonderful twist on the genre of dating sims and still managed to tackle the brutal reality of depression well. Yet also manages to be scary easily.

11. Celeste
A breathtaking experience with some of the most brutal platforming i've ever played is how I'd describe Celeste. Yet the message of the game is something that resonated deep within myself. It's an emotional journey that has such an insanely amazing payoff.
