The lovely letters left by Ms. Look-alike were written by director Hideaki Anno.
Oyasumi (good night), Ohayo (good morning), Arigato (thank you), and Sayonara (goodbye).
All of them may be famous words, but if you want to start learning Japanese, this may be a good first step.
In 3.0+1.0, many of the handwritten characters were written by the voice actors. Although not mentioned in detail, the names in the staff credits suggest that these handwritten characters are by the voice actors of Toji, Asuka, Mari, and Kaji Jr.
