#MathsArtMonday The kids and I played with these cool illusion cube tiles that my son got for his birthday. Then we took a photo and played with it in MirrorLab. There was lots of laughter!
Slightly short on time today, so of course I messed around in Python instead of making tea. I was reminded about Turtle in a recent editing job so here is a grid of 100 stars with a careful amount of randomisation. #GeometrySketchbook #DigitalGeometrySketchbook #SketchADayJune
A seed of life modelled in OpenSCAD, with different heights for the overlaps. I'll try printing it at the weekend. #GeometrySketchbook #DigitalGeometrySketchbook #SketchADayJune
I used Inkscape for today's maths art. I had much grander plans than this, but it was too hard so I scaled it back a bit. I like some of the path manipulation functions in Inkscape. #GeometrySketchbook #DigitalGeometrySketchbook #SketchADayJune
@becky_k_warren @geogebra I was doing this this morning, then saw your tweet and thought you were doing something similar. Then read your tweet and realised that it is completely different! But has a similar 'feel' :-)
For #MathsArtMonday I've been trying out different brushes and effects in Gimp to colour designs from @becky_k_warren's Geogebra course #GeogebraArt
Creations from this week's #GeogebraArt course with @becky_k_warren. I love the translate by vector tool - I wish I had known about it when I designed my MathsJam cake last year, would have saved a lot of time!
