Kracko moves back and forth forcing you to scurry away to avoid him. Get too close and he'll hit you with beams of lightning. Stay toward the center of the stage and he'll swoop down and bop ya.
His attacks even respond to where you are (sometimes).
And yes, actually beating Whispy is super easy, and when you do you get a nice jingle and some unexplained backup dancers to celebrate overcoming the odds.
