The Space Marine was brainstormed for a Uni project, while the two alien women were an attempt at channeling 's early Assaj and 's character designs and tone. Power and fragility in tension.

This one's a funny story: started out as a uni pencil sketch, was painted over half a year ago digitally (in an attempt to look traditional). It didn't get finished until I picked it up again a few days ago and just freely painted over it again (left)
