I had not done a new portrait of T'ni in quite a while and I thought I would take all of you along during the portrait creation process with her.

T'ni and I batted around pose ideas and expression before she settled on this one.

The softening and expansion of the symphysis pubis happens over a couple of weeks at the pregnancy's end, and my understanding is that is uncomfortable.

Contractions possess a strong cramp like pain.

I don't know why it is so painful. That's a good question.
