Materials: I do most of my painting in acrylics on fine linen canvas. I love the smooth linen surface and like the robustness of acrylics for building up layers. I also like that it dries super quick so when I have an idea I can get on with it quickly. I’m not a good waiter �

Agapanthus
I’ve been surprised to see my agapanthus has given me a new flower this month. Such a strong and fabulous burst of colour. I’ve been working on these paintings all summer, trying to capture the busy colours and shape. Think I’m getting there now.
