With Coromon and Nexomon Extinction coming this season, Temtem having its next island update in July and Monster Crown finally getting a public demo in July, this summer is looking nice for monster collecting and taming games.

Either that or they were inspired by the same person somewhere else.
You can definitely see 80's and early 90's Toriyama in Sugimori's 90's work.
