First it was "emotional support sonic.weird" and now it's "emotional support game maker"

There was a time where i liked Curse, he was genuinely interesting to me, he had a cool concept and neat execution.
But now. What the fuck is this.
Why. Why don't just let things die sometimes? The new design i feel ruins the point of Curse, he doesn't feel like sonic anymore.

i'm doing a take on someone's au and i got this, as i like to call "emotional support sonic.weird" for reference lol.

I think the designs i love the most are those that literally have never changed outside of small tweaks. They're so good, it doesn't need anything else.
Per example, Bespi, the only notable changes outside of the artstyle is the boots and gloves getting a bit more square like.
