@viIIomaru it definitely has a specific style to its playable character designs, they're not bad but I see what you mean with a lot of them seeming similar.

I think these three are the most unique design wise so far compared to the rest but they still fall under what you mentioned

Marnie

I really like Marnie as a character! She's rly cute and likable but I feel like she wasn't explored as much as Hop or Bede. I know she wants to become champion to support her town and her cheering for you was a neat moment but I still wish we saw her more through the game

Real shit Bede was the first jerk rival I actually started to care about dskfjsd I found him so funny and my heart went out for his when he basically got disowned by Rose and then adopted by Opal. Seeing be so much happier with himself... my uwus
