Did you know that Sonic SatAM was released as a 4 disc box set in Korea, which pre-dated the American/UK release box set?

I just find it hilarious that there was a point in time where aspects and rules of the comic, including the "No Fun Allowed" type rules were treated as serious canon lol.

@SorcererLance Oddly enough, we've discovered no model sheet with the same color pallette, but we have seen a model sheet with the same body. Its likely there was an additional model sheet with the initial Archie colors, or it was revised to look better when printing.

Once the reboot happened, they were unable to use the name "Max" due to Archie losing the rights to most elements of the comic from every writer up to that point aside from Ian Flynn. So, Ian gave him the new first name Nigel, which is likely a nod to-

first name throughout the entire series, nor was he given a first name in any of the series' internal documents or scripts.

When the Archie comics eventually came around and started to use him as a character, Ken Penders decided to name him Max, short for Maximillian, Acorn.
