@klhicks912 Many of my characters, like their author, go barefoot whenever possible, experience the world on a vivid sensory level, and have little use for or patience with authority figures. Many of them are musicians, artists, dancers and/or mystics, and hold a deep affinity for the woods.
@WeymanWrites @damianaswan Self-publishing income depends on too many factors to count. Some folks make almost nothing, while others bring in hundreds or thousands of dollars per month. I spend the time and money it takes to release major publisher-level work. Many self-pub authors don't.
@Magskall @RowellPublish When does it come out?
We're launching preorders right after I receive and approve the finished audiobook files.
The book went to press months ago. We just want to make sure the audiobook is ready to go before we launch publicly.
@Mikehomeseller Dead Can Dance - A Passage in Time
Faith and the Muse - Annwyn, Beneath the Waves
Rush - Moving Pictures
Concrete Blonde - Bloodletting
Judas Priest - Unleashed in the East
@robertjwolfmd @NatashaCL7 Red Shoes took me roughly four years; almost a year of that time, though, was spent waiting for other parties in the publication process to finish their end of the project. I wrote and revised it over a three-year period, in between other writing projects.
@CinnabarMothPub Meghan Susan Green (Arpeggio, Powerchords, Red Shoes) has probably shown up in more of my work than any character outside the Mage series I've written for White Wolf. That said, her best friend Genet (narrator of Red Shoes) is even more fun to write.
@CinnabarMothPub Not after killing any off, but I DID tear up while writing (and later, while editing) certain scenes in Red Shoes.
@CloverErotica >How would your MC react if their world suddenly turned paranormal?
That's literally the plot of RED SHOES.
