After more revisions to nail down the details and the Afro-Caribbean style that writer Summer requested for the family's outfits, here's how the final designs turned out!
It was fun giving Wygenia a variety of adorable outfits and hairstyles throughout the book!

Next was a second round of revisions. Wygenia's face and skin tone were decided, but needed to lose the corn rows for freer feel. She also needed some girlier clothes! Dad was changed to be more of an academic with locs, and Sanjay's face was chosen from the previous line-up.
