Here's a weird bit of trivia for you: this popular meme is from a 1988 Soviet film called "Return to Treasure Island", which would later get a PC game adaption, Остров сокровищ (2005), by Action Forms, the creators of Carnivores, Chasm: The Rift, and Cryostasis.

Made a PS1 style tree for the first time. 156 polygons when triangulated, trunk is a 32x128 texture, leaves are a 64x128 texture. Bush is the top half of the tree cut off and shrunk down lol. Happy to start replacing the old placeholder foliage in Compound Fracture.
