Two Creeper covers by Steve Ditko. The first one's layout was designed by Ditko, but the second was devised by Carmine Infantino who forced Ditko to stick to it. Ditko drew a dog pissing on a fire hydrant at the bottom in protest. 🙂

I've been re-reading the 1970s Defenders run by Steve Gerber, Sal Buscema & Klaus Janson, inspired by Hub & Cory at @ttwasteland_. Brilliant stuff. I've just got to Steve & Sal's last issue. This panel is wonderfully weird; worthy of Ditko!
