These insufferable people make no distinction between fiction & reality, especially when it comes to anime art. This ridiculous crusade is riddled with inconsistencies when one examines the overall worldview of its loudest acolytes.
They couldn't even be bothered to animate the characters with their sleeves up. Not to mention this series takes place in a fantasy setting not reflective of the real world.
Dungeons & Dragons lost all its edge a long time ago and it's never coming back.
Yamato emulates Oden due to a deeply held admiration, but that doesn't stop people from attempting to project their own insanity onto fiction.
The people behind the One Piece live-action show & its inevitable defenders won't bat an eye at absurd characters like Big Mom, but will pretend changes to Nami & Nico Robin were necessary despite them being the least unrealistic part of the series.
It's never a good sign when the creator has limited involvement in an adaptation and has to resort to prayer that it will turn out good.
There is nothing impossible about this outfit. If the production crew can't even get that right, there's no way they should be adapting a Japanese sci-fi anime into live-action. The lengths people go to defend poor design choices are absurd.
They might want to slow down considering the show hasn't even launched yet and there's already conflict with the audience over remaining true to the source material.
