It's a Soyfy "original." This is a far cry from the times of Sci-Fi channel's Saturday Anime.

Ability score penalties in D&D created a different feel for character options and allowed for players to adapt to problems through creativity rather than relying solely on high scores. These people even want to bypass fantasy adversity.

That's one skill that would have been useful playing Wizardry.
