I traced my 2017 Abobo sprite at 400% in Clip Studio while making changes. I redrew a different angle for the head later. At that size, I can at least kinda guess if it'll bunch up when I export it at sprite size.
@Richmond_Lee I saw his movies so much that I originally thought Legend of Kage was based on a movie of his I didn't know about. Even recently, I *tried* to make my redone sprite look a bit like him
@iamsawhorse Yeah, his Street Fighter Alpha sprites had Nikes, but he wore Chucks in some of the original art for Final Fight.
The new Haggar sprites were Clip Studio kinda-traces of my old Haggar sprites, but I drew the heads at sprite size. Less colors than the old sprites to fit more objects (FF2 knee pads, Slam Masters stripes) in future sprites within the 16 color limit.
In honor of the late Wes Craven's birthday, if you could only watch one of his movies tonight, which one would it be?
Reminder: today was International Spider-Man day, but it's also the birthday of Chuck D from Public Enemy, and I've made pixel art of both:
Besides finishing the IREM Undercover Cops crew, I finally sprited Pimple from Battletoads. I sprited the first two in 2017, but he still seems to fit in terms of style.
IREM Undercover Cops crew complete! Rosa was in the first site update of the year and an unfinished Zan was in the gallery page graphic. Figured I'd wait and get Matt and Zan in the same update.
Baroness' new sprite is a remake of my old sprite edit (on the left of the work shot, made mostly from SFA Rose). If people like the new one, I'll reshade the 2015 scratch-made sprite on the right to match.
