Even if you wanted to play with this dynamic, something like Beastars does it WAY better. Yeah, you have Legoshi, your stereotypical dangerous male, but you also have characters like Pina. Likewise you've got cute Haru, but youve also got Juno who's got some teeth of her own.

I always follow the rules set by the species; vulpines get proper paws, raccoons remain plantigrade.

(Yes, raccoons have more human-like "paws" instead of beans.)

That's the thing, I don't actually think they look bad most of the time! Juanjo Guarnido is a massively talented artist and he clearly puts a lot of love into his work, the inconsistency just bugs me on a personal level lol.

Guess you could say it works in reverse too, making the men seem ugly, violent, bestial or sleazy comparatively.
