one of the things i focused on with her redesign was giving her more consistent Shapes, because her face and hair always came out different every time i drew her.
i think it's most apparent here. four big circles wrapping around her head, seperated by little tufts of floof

mario isn't the BEST series to me but he is my FAVOURITE, and the most influential to me creatively

i'd like to think you can see a bit of that in my art too! you could totally picture poppy alongside those Adorable Anime Humans from mario golf. her and plum would be besties
