Spent some time tonight with @ColossalCake to see how M&L:Superstar Saga styled Mario would look in Unreal engine (well just his hair :P). We got it pretty close to how I was wanting it! The cel shading really helps with it I feel. Possible, future @curiomatic episode!
It's not often that I work in a more cartoony & graphic style. It allowed me to problem solve abstract-ish shapes, and how to apply texture without overdoing the rendering.
To this day, I still can't get over the brilliance behind this character's name and design.
