It's not often that I work in a more cartoony & graphic style. It allowed me to problem solve abstract-ish shapes, and how to apply texture without overdoing the rendering.
To this day, I still can't get over the brilliance behind this character's name and design.

I absolutely love the brush stroke work in the Mario & Luigi RPG official art, so I'm hoping to get that feeling down with the final result. I think once I start doing albedo maps as well, it'll help strengthen the look
