Behind the scenes. First sketch I did while on a call for something else. 3, 4 minutes tops, a roadmap for the next sketch. Second sketches were about trying to nail shapes and position elements. Final product was after hundreds of tweaks and dozens of versions in illustrator.

@mattdoyledesign The colors are a big issue here. The Blue Jackets' use of the flag works because they use the same colors and the flag is more recognizable. There's too much disconnect between the Crew and state flag. Other than the vague shape it's asking us to make a lot of buys.
