Funland's local regulars and steady tourist trade were still there, but as public view of the Troc worsened, and the lucrativeness of arcades decreased, it became less and less relevant. Maintenence happened more infrequently, and older games weren't replaced as often.

Recently uncovered footage of Sega World London, recorded by tourists in 1999. Notably features a glimpse of the Sega Store to the right, as well as entrance signs at the midway point of the Rocket Escalators.

One of the lesser-known parts of Sega World London was Segakids, situated on the Carnival floor. It mainly consisted of a children's play area, with colourful Sonic influenced decor, and a McDonalds outlet.
