Besides how Kira has a lot of character similarities with BOB and Leland Palmer, you can literally draw a straight line from David Bowie in Fire Walk With Me to Kira’s overall look

While waiting for a response from my client I made a new more seasonally appropriate profile pic.

This is probably best displayed in the character designs where there’s a mix of painterly realism and victorian-era caricature, to the point where characters who are traditionally handsome or beautiful still have something unique about their appearance.
