2017. Since I cheated that last one it means I get to put a game here other than Nier. I debated between this and life is strange: before the storm, but in the end. this won out. It's the only metroidvania I've enjoyed playing in many years. And I'm looking forward to silksong

2018. I'm absolutely cheating here, because the game was technically released in 2017, but released a year later on xbox. But this game is an absolute fucking masterpiece and I can not say enough positive things about it.

1. Year isn't over, I have big *eyes emoji* on a few more games coming out. But so far, the thing I've enjoyed most is TMNT:Shredder's Revenge. Lots and lots of nostalgia with this one!
