The last of my artworks is about Very Severe Myalgic Encephalomyelitis which has been described as a living death.

My artwork represents the darkness Very Severe M.E patients live in. Cut off from the world and hidden behind the four walls of their room.

I’m trying to fit in art whenever the kitten is asleep and right now he is. Something I have been working on on the side is this portrait of my beautiful friend @BEINGNICKDRE. Today I managed to finish the first layer and I will start working on the details now.

I haven’t mentioned my garden sketchbook for a while because I haven’t worked on it in ages. Don’t worry though I have been recording which plants need to go on which page and I have taken plenty of reference photos of them all. The last plant to be added was an Epimedium flower.

I’ve really enjoyed working on this Magnolia ‘Star Wars’ illustration. We love this magnolia so much that it is the central feature in our garden. I’m looking forward to watching it mature over the coming years.

I went thought my own personal hell during 2020. Menopause was awful for me and I didn’t realise how horrendous it had been until I was on HRT. I never thought I would love a medication but HRT has given me some of my life back. Day to day life is much sunnier now.

Here it is the finished Akebia quinata drawing next to the one I did way back in 2015 when I first started drawing again.

The water brings the colour to life.
