Throwback to 2012 when I was figuring out where I wanted my style to go.
"The Things I do for Love" - #Watercolor and #photoshop
Happy #internationalwomensday! Here's a throwback to a piece I made as a tribute to my grandmothers, and all of the other storytellers in my life.
Hey #VisibleWomen, I'm Serena. I work in watercolour, acryla gouache and photoshop, and I explore a lot of themes of femininity and human nature through my work. My portfolio is https://t.co/0qlKvrDjjC
#Throwbackthursday to 2012 when I made these icons in art school. This was my first experience abstracting figures and shapes this way, and it really informed my current style. #illustration #style #watercolor #design
I'm sooooo close to getting to start personal work again and I'm sooooo excited!
Well you guys, we're 98% funded on Kickstarter already and I really want to thank you all for your support. The author, Kizer Nix, just added a few new tiers to the Kickstarter, where some of my work-in-progress art is now available. It ends 12/31/2018!
"The Plundering of Airlie" - watercolour and Photoshop, done back in 2013 I believe.
This is "The Things I do for Love" based on Bran's dream from A Game of Thrones. It was the second illustration I completed when I finished art school (2012). You can tell I was excited to have unlimited time to work on my art. It took me a month, luckily Ive gotten faster since!
