What is the Galacta Knight Collection?
A collection of Galacta art based on a singular concept each, posted daily using the tag #GalaColle. Goal: To increase the amount of Galacta art in the world. The first collection was in March 2021.

[WIP posting Part Final]
The black and white Galacta is (mostly) finished. All that's left is to figure how to colorize him. I've never colorized grayscale before.
A very rough draft of the background was also made.
Hopefully I'll finish him soon.

I wasn't satisfied with the level of detail in one of the wings so I went back and added more. It's time consuming, but ignoring it would bother me too much. The other wing will have to wait.

[WIP posting part II]
I like focusing a significant amount of effort on Galacta's wings. Just one of them took me almost as much time as the rest of him. I think his beautiful feathered wings are one of his key charm points.

By posting a work-in-progress picture, I essentially promise to deliver a finished illustration eventually.
Since I hate breaking promises, the chances this drawing is ever completed greatly increase. This makes wip posting a tactical move with tangible benefits to productivity.
