I tried to sketch out people before I did the full drawing on Clip Studio Paint and I realized I still do it better on paper than digital. It still looks too stiff on digital...

so here is a redesign of one of my oldest OC's from that attempt

I remember how when I first drawn my OC Sasha back in 2012, she looked like a mix between Maria Grace Fleed and Honey Kisaragi given my tad misguided obsession with Shogun Warriors at the time

So I tried to redraw her old design and update it

The Combattler V manga by Noboru Sakaoka is notable to me for how it basically completely redesigned Chizuru into looking like Natsuko from Cutie Honey
