Home Sick Pilots#5, this series has been crushing it every issue, and this issue it takes a turn for a genre that has suddenly come into vogue - perhaps by coincidence - and I love it. This book turns into a kaiju book this issue. It’s weird and wild! A new arc begins in June!
The BeQuest#1, this is cool! Instead of a group of humans entering a fantasy realm, a group of fantasy characters have been conscripted to Earth to help find someone from their world who is buying Earth weapons - in exchange for magic. Both worlds are in danger! A great set up.
Scout’s Honor#3, Kit and Dez’s friendship continues to suffer, mostly because of Dez’s feelings and party because of who he’s becoming. They both compete in the trial to become part of the Eagle’s guard, but the winner doesn’t stay in the good books for long.
Home Sick Pilots#4, man, the video tape ghost was so cool. A mysterious group has been hunting ghosts using TVs? Ami confronts the ghosts and the house and appears to win, but right at the end there’s a little twist. Great, as always!
Kaiju Score#4, closing out the series perfectly and hinting at maaaybe more to come. This was killer from start to finish, the art, colors and characters were awesome and the writing was excellent. It’s been picked up to be a movie and if they pull it off, it’ll be spectacular.
