Snorlax is the most clever Gigantamax imo. Instead of him sleeping on the route, he is the route, the route has grown on him.

I love how the Blipbug line reflects a typical nerd character arc. Dweeb to closed off scientist to super villain who gmaxes into having a whole UFO. There’s so many extra influences too like the evolution of radar. It’s such a good Pokémon line especially for a route 1 bug.

I love how Rookidee and Corvisquire are actually just pure flying types and don’t follow the normal flying trappings other route 1 birds do

Love the family relationships in Sword and Shield, they’re all so great. Love how big of a role family has been in the last two generations.

The sheer amount of lore these two Pokémon have is impressive. The dichotomy between both of them is also cool and is further reflected in Marnie and Bede using one of the two respectively.
