shows, she WILL absolutely wreck you and whatever army you have if you come at her family.
Be it voice work or something more in the visual realm (or heck, even a bit of writing), it would be fun to work on these: https://t.co/KIeCJRgn46
As a kid I first heard of these & was surprised at the idea, but now that I'm older, I'd love to see more of these, but translated into English & other languages, I think there's a market for them! #StreetFighter has had several & it'd be awesome to be able to follow the stories!
The fact that he retired to an island & agreed to never bother the outside world when he thought he killed Spidey was interesting. He didn't go back to NYC or San Francisco to go on a rampage, he felt his twisted mission was over & would be content for the rest of his life.
I have to say that Gerry Duggan's take was a wonderful return to form that beautifully touched on the messy past, but forged a friendship with Captain America & Wolverine, gave him a daughter, & brought forth truly emotive story telling again.
That's 1 thing I miss about modern Deadpool depictions, the vulnerability. Buried underneath the jokes is a truly frightened & broken man. The old issues were unique in how, 1 moment Wade's making a joke, but if his mask is torn off, he goes insane trying to hide, even among pals
On the subject of compelling, the relationship between Dr. Killebrew & Wade was a mighty bit of storytelling. Never have I hated & feared such a visually unimposing character like this before. The horrors he unleashed upon Wade to his redemption were longform storytelling genius.
It's makes me sad that we'll probably never have a Joe Kelly Deadpool adult animated series. Like, I can see a Deadpool show occasionally being serious, but the highs & legendary lows Kelly brought the character were really something special.
@GreenRangerDon @nbajambook Also, according to the Tobachi & Tabuchi Captain Commando manga (and an Easter egg in Resident Evil 3 Remake) Cap's real name is Mars Carlisle. His father was an inventor and founded Star Electronics before his death.
Oh snap, in 11 days the arcade release of Captain Commando will have it's 30th anniversary! I can't be the only one who's still happy to have the good Captain around. I know a bunch of us would love to see him return someday! If not in an MvC2 re-release, how about a nice sequel?
