March concluded with me 4,000 words shy of my goal, but that’s not too bad considering I spent half the month battling strep throat in my kids. I’m happy with where I’m at and with the art I churned out for my March character, Emriel.

In Feb I focused on my second protagonist from Talon, Mist. I didn’t get as much art done as I wanted, but I managed to pull myself out of the funk I’ve been in to get a few done. She’s one of my favorites so I’m glad I fleshed out her design. #WritingCommunity #artistsontwitter

I've taken a break from my love project, Wellspring, to reset and get some new perspective. This year my goal is to finally tackle my dragonrider book, Talon. This month I'm focusing my art on Aven, one of my new MC's. 😍

I made bookmarks for Christmas for my older girls. They’re based off imaginary characters they created when they were very little. They still play to this day, so I thought it’d be nice to bring their imaginations to life.
