In the Era of Silence, characters will augment themselves in any number of ways, for medical, professional, or cosmetic purposes.

The Draaks (left) are gargantuan lizards that live in the mountains west of Astael. The Varnhai (right) are a hive-minded insectoid species and the dominant group of the Buried Nation, a coallition of underground species that represent subterrestrial interests.
