5) In Norms words "the comic just radiates a very queer energy".
Aka it's gay as hell. Like... Half of the ships/couples are gay and even those that aren't sometimes get all star eyes over people of their gender.
4) Magical BOYS. Because we have both in this series and they're great.
2) Variety! The cast ranges the board in age and ethnicity. Everyone is unique and fun. Like I legitimately don't hate any character in this... Yet.
Norm could always pull the rug out from under me.
1) Humor. I have read this comic a few times now and I still crack up at the jokes and I keep finding new ones I missed.
Especially if you are into anime and magical girls you will get a huge kick out of it. Doujinshi are a running gag.
Please just take a day and read Andromeda Star.

"I have a heart, I swear I do
But just not baby when it comes to you
I get so hungry when you say you love me
Hush! If you know what's good for you"

So here's day one, The Botanist.
My mother used to raise day lilies and I remember hand pollinating them to cross breed variants. It was the first thing I thought of with the theme.
Finished commission for customer! Their yinglet character out on a date.
Yinglets are from the webcomic “Out-of-Placers” by Valsalia on Deviantart.
