Superman #9-11 reused the frontiespieces from #6 and #8 with new coloring, and the practice was mostly abandoned after that. An unused frontiespiece was published in Secret Origins #1 in 1986 with Wayne Boring commentary on the art breakdown within the Joe Shuster studio.
