In reality, Nito is a doppelganger of sorts, an alien from beyond the far reaches of the stars come to the college campus the game takes place in to find the husk of his brother. The two are capable of looking like anyone and he's adamant about dealing with his sibling.
Currently, I'm playing in another modern fantasy game, set in not-Florida in an 80's equivalent. I'm playing Nito, a strange young punk from the fart north of the country who seems unaware of social norms, but otherwise normal enough. The party has since learned that is a lie.
First up is Grig, my Lizardfolk Dhampir in a modern fantasy game. He was ex-mafia-turned-monk looking to start fresh in life until he realized he'd have to put aside the whole non-violence and lack of attachment thing in order to really help the people around him.
