I spent a whole weekend sketching dogs, then painted it from a reference of my friend's housemate dog combined with some beach photos. Not just dogs, I barely do environments, so that was a good try along with light & shadow. ✨
Our witchy queen has finally returned! I'm so thrilled to play Bayonetta 3 this weekend. 🥰✨
I cannot imagine my early years of art progress without his manga-realistic style. To this day, I still love his beautiful paintings despite several years of his online inactivity via DeviantArt.
I miss drawing semi-realism, and I'm thinking of my favourite DeviantArt artist who inspired me from my high school days. I never forget how his spark encouraged me to draw realistically while it can be stylized.
For my little sister Camille! I used her photo for painting practice and that was lots of fun. 😊✨
Recently, I rewatched Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, not just as a long-time fan, but as a storyteller in the hyper-analyzing mode. What a trip it has been! I'm still drowning in feels.
Oh gosh, I can't believe I really painted this holographic bow. That was not intended from the start, yet I wanted to challenge myself with a new skill related to both light & colour. This is so worth the time and effort I took for my colour study in the past two months.
The reference photo reminds me of Yami Yugi from Yugioh. He would probably do that, especially in the early manga or season 0. That's ideally chaotic of his character. 😎✨
