I was thinking about Roman's concept art and I like to imagine that he had those hair styles throughout his lifetime.
And that he has naturally poofy curly hair that he straightens and dries it

@bmblbeaky I have a young Neo design (it's for the Roman and Neo comic I'm planning btw) that I can show you.
Maybe I could draw these two meeting each other... (tho this Neo's from Vale and Emerald's likely from Mistral)
