The artbook for Spyro is out! It has a lot of artist commentary, anecdotes and background information on the art of the game. Go get it!
I tried to implement rhythm into every asset I’d create for this work - just to see if it works. I had built planks, beams and rivets in order to build bigger structures. With these structures I then built the megastructure. 6/9

I wasn't really happy with the shapes. I thought they were non-descriptive and uninteresting. Looking at the new version, it's not much better, but a bit more iconic.

Let's art direct myself!
My last artwork, the homeworld fanart wasn't really satisfying. So I sat down and thought about it and here is the result. I will post my thoughts in this thread.
