The most common bird in Switzerland is a really pretty one. 😊 I didn't know chaffinches were so frequent here until i once took an ornithology course.

I can't even begin to describe how much I enjoyed painting this.
So many colors in one bird! Even though iridiscent birds are quite daunting subjects, this painting approach seems to work very well with them. 😊
