Thinking about the movements I want the character to make helps
Pic 1 is jumpy so her legs will "kick" outside - the heel needs to be turned to the outsides. 2 and 3 will tap the feet and move more to the sides so I need the shoe pointing externally

🐾Symmetry
Feet invards makes possible to have some symmetry in the design, easier to rig and place the model on streams' screens. The regular frontal feet looks static and limits the movement (if you move to the right your feet don't point frontally)
