In 1994 on this day Japan got to play Donkey Kong Country on the SNES for the first time. A truly amazing game that had everyone scratching their heads at the time asking "how did they do that?".

Guess what?

I'm not sure people realise just how much of an impact Street Fighter 2 had on gaming. Arcades were filled with cabinets of this massive hit.

This was a photo I took in Sydney's Timezone. Note the kid on the left with hand written move sets.

Trying to find a video of the Australian TV commercial of World of Illusion starring Mickey & Donald for the Mega Drive as I recorded the game play footage for that ad.

Also trying to find a 1994 commercial of The Gamesmen as in in it.

I truly believe that the gaming cover is an exciting element of gaming that needs to be celebrated. Digital sales kinda dilutes this somewhat but I still hold gaming covers in high regard.

So l want you to show covers that you think are plain legendary!
