Siegward being stuck down a well in Dark Souls 3 was initially a concept from Bloodborne, in which an Old Yharnam survivor would be encountered in the same way (likely the well outside Oedon Chapel).

Fun fact: the entire setup was inspired by Lassie (1955) Episode 24: "The Well"

Fun fact: The blood-splattered look Alfred has after pulping Annalise is created using unique armour and a unique weapon that have blood and flesh attached. You can equip them using a save editor and they function normally.

Another fun Bloodborne fact: Alfred is a fucking incel.
