Now we have Butch Hartman's drawing ⬅️. This is a poor copy of 028ton's art ➡️. While not a hard trace like the other example, the terms Copy and Trace are both applicable here. Copying the OGs composition and character positioning as close as possible which is not transformative

I said would talk about Sio's missing antler so here it is. Loss.

I've mentioned my abuse on here but not how I cope with it. Sio cannot grow back his missing antler. It is impossible, as it represents loss and the things we must leave behind by choice or otherwise.

I thought it would be helpful to show these real silhouettes next to my tutorial.

Here are some examples of how I use this technique in my art. Characters are the focus in these so the leaves are subtle and soft, easily read, it saves a lot of time, and they still look nice.
