Nike. A former roller derby player who lost her leg in an accident. She has a type of psychokinesis. She's a bitch who tends to treat people quite badly. That said, when push comes to shove, she'll do the right thing.

Ivo. Another member of the forest service. He does a lot of search and rescue. He works to help humans and supernatural beings coexist peacefully on the side. He tries very hard to see the best in everyone, but sometimes people take advantage of his kindness.

Starting a different set of OCs.

Ade. A member of the Forest Service. They spend half the year stationed in an isolated fire watch tower barely seeing anyone, and that's how they like it. They've seen a lot of weird things in the forest so nothing surprises them anymore.

Destiny. Capplan's friend back at school. She's a total romantic and in love with the idea of soulmates. She's also an amazing storyteller. She absolutely loves movies, and wants to make them as a career. She's been working on a screenplay since Freshman year.

Sushma. The grandchild of one of Aaliyah's previous soulmates. They work for Aaliyah. They talk in a monotone and don't like being around people very much. They have very high emotional intelligence but try to stay detached. Still, they'll give you candy if you're sad.

Rho. Aaliyah's ex, and the goddess of love. Unlike Aaliyah, she was never human. She loved Aaliyah dearly, but in the end, she was the one that broke it off.
Lately, she wants to reconcile with her, but the lingering animosity from their messy break-up is making it hard.

Capplan. Aaliyah's most recent soulmate. An ordinary high school student. He is skeptical of the concept of soulmates, but sought out Aaliyah anyway. Now he's caught up in the middle of a conflict between deities, and he's even /more/ skeptical of soulmates. He's trying.

Skipping ahead a bit since I'm drawing more of them lately.

Aaliyah. The demi-goddess of soulmates. She was an ordinary human, but became a goddess through a series of events. She dated the goddess of love for many years, but it ended badly. She is jaded and withdrawn.

Ming Yue. Part of the same group as above. She is quiet and seems shy to start, but she's actually very bold, and isn't afraid to cause a stir if she has to. (She just doesn't usually see the need to.) She likes fashion, but she's still figuring out her personal style.

A little early for 10/3 but oh well.

Ethan. Part of the same group as above, with the same ability. He is energetic and athletic: a dangerous combination. He has a pretty high opinion of himself. Still, he's not the type to shirk on his responsibilities.
