seeing the speculation of Kaido being a part of an Oni or Ogre race and a lot of the descriptions I'm hearing sound like the Ancient Giants (Oars)

except all descriptions has them using some mystical power over the elements in ways that go against the power system of the series

If my speculation about Kaido being a decendant of the ancient giant race is right then it could explain Yamato's "transformation" as something similar to Dellinger rather than a Devil Fruit
