@__Day_Dream__ I make a 3rd clipping layer with a lighter color to add a bit of pre-highlights (also 2nd picture) after that I just use white with different opacities above all those layers to make highlights(3rd picture)

@__Day_Dream__ idk how to explain well but I usually do my flat colors on one layer with very pastel-ish colors(first image) and then make 2 clipping layers that have a dark purple at 33% and 66% opacities to shade it :D (second image)

decided I'm not going to finish this because I don't want it to be interpreted the wrong way anyways here is a crumb
