Wow! Really loved how this turned out! It's my first time in a while where I've done a soft painterly style. First try, the brush strokes were rough and edgy, but my second try *chef kiss* 😍! I'm definitely going to be doing some more of these :) #artistsontwitter

Started this photo study over again today, I noticed yesterday that the brush stokes were very messy and had a hard edge. So I watched @ericanthonyj painting process to help understand how to get that soft painterly feel. I think it's looking a bit better - I'll check back soon🥰

Wanted to improve on painting people of colour so I'm doing some skin tone studies (plus trying a softer painting style)! It's a little rough now but I'll work on it and check back soon🥰
